This study aims to examine the effectiveness of the Jigsaw method in improving students’ PAI scores using a quantitative quasi-experimental design. The sample consisted of two classes: an experimental group taught using the Jigsaw method and a control group using conventional methods. Data were analyzed using t-tests and n-gain tests to measure significant improvement in scores. The results indicate that the Jigsaw method significantly improves students’ scores on Hajj, Zakat, and Waqf materials, with average n-gain scores in the moderate to high category. This method also enhances student motivation and engagement in learning.
2025-09-07T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2025 Hani Yuliawanti, Hoerotunnisa, Kiki Miftahul Hakiki, Moch. However, along with the changing times, there have been several modifications in its practice, such as shortening the duration of the burdah recitation and omitting the adhan on one of the house pillars. Using a descriptive qualitative approach with observation and interview methods, this study reveals that the Selamatan Bungko embodies several values: the value of silaturrahmi, which strengthens social relations; the value of mutual assistance, which reflects the spirit of gotong royong (communal cooperation); and the value of exemplarity derived from the recitation of qasidah burdah. Based on Émile Durkheim’s functionalism theory, this tradition also serves as a means of reinforcing social solidarity and internalizing Islamic values in community life.
2025-09-10T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2025 Nur Syarifuddin, Aris Ibra Assyauqihttps://journalfai.unisla.ac.id/index.php/kuttab/article/view/2609Humanistic Fiqh Learning in the M2KD Program for Religious Moderation of Mambaul Ulum Pamekasan Students2025-09-13T20:57:37+07:00Ach. This study employs a descriptive-analytical qualitative approach, utilizing literature review and an examination of contemporary phenomena to explore the relevance of Sufi values in addressing the challenges of modernity. The findings indicate that the revitalization of Sufism can serve as a paradigm in Islamic educational praxis. Core values such as tazkiyat al-nafs (self-purification), tawakkal (trust in God), ṣabr (patience), zuhd (asceticism), and universal compassion are highly relevant for application in Islamic education to shape a generation with strong character, tolerance, and divine consciousness. The background of this research lies in the importance of effective Qur'anic teaching methods to develop basic reading and comprehension skills. This research employed a qualitative descriptive approach. The results show that the implementation of the Baghdadi method is conducted gradually—starting with the introduction of Arabic letters (huruf hijaiyah), mastery of articulation (makharijul huruf), vowel marks (harakat), and eventually progressing to reading and memorizing short surahs. Supporting factors include active involvement from teachers and parents, the use of appropriate instructional media, and high student motivation. Muhammadiyah advances a progressive model of education grounded in modern science and technology, emphasizing rationality, innovation, and adaptability to global developments. Learning is an obligation for every Muslim, as emphasized in the Qur’an and Hadith. Learning activities are not only of academic value but also serve as acts of worship and means of drawing closer to Allah. This is reflected in their commitment to obey Allah’s commands, enthusiasm for studying and understanding religious values, increased patience, and the application of commendable behavior in daily life. Islamic education in Indonesia currently continues to experience a fluctuating process and moves dynamically to adapt to changing times. Of course this makes policy makers who are members of a government institution must quickly respond to changing times by providing a reflection of what must be improved and perfected. This research aims to provide a new paradigm through a theological-normatif approach based on the Qur'an and Sunnah to perfect the concept of Islamic education. This research uses the systematic literature review (SLR) method. The results of this study found that the basis of tawhid correlated with theological values and the Koran hadith correlated with normatif aspects has a positive construction that can develop Islamic education in a more holistic and comprehensive direction.
