PENGARUH PERMAINAN HULAHOOP TERHADAP KECERDASAN KINESTETIK ANAK 5-6 TAHUN

Abstract


This study aimed to determine the effect of hulahoop games on kinesthetic intelligence of children aged 5-6 years. This research conducted on students of group B of TK Purnama Bugel. It was motivated by the lack of creative learning using hulahoop media at that school, so that this media was never used in learning. Therefore, the researchers chosed to vary the hulahoop media combined with gross motor games, (such as: jumping zigzags, throwing small balls, moving balls and moving me), in order to develop kinesthetic intelligence in children aged 5-6 years. This research uses quantitative approach withOne-Group Pretest-Posttest model of Pre-Experimental Design.Data collection was carried out by observing the kinesthetic intelligence of 15 group B students in Purnama Bugel Kindergarten before and after playing the hula hoop game that was trained.Based on the results of the Pre-Test and Post-Test, the researchers processed and
analyzed the data using the Wilcoxon Test formula signed rank SPSS test version 25. The results of the comparison of the pre-test and post-test scores showed that there was a positive difference between the pre-test and post-test scores in 15 students. Then from the results of a statistical analysis based on the degree of significance of Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) is smaller than <0.05, it is known that the result is 0.001 which means Ha is accepted. Therefore it can be concluded that the game of hula hoop affects the kinesthetic intelligence of children aged 5-6 years in group B TK Purnama Bugel
