PEMBENTUKAN KARAKTER RELIGIUS PESERTA DIDIK MELALUI ORGANISASI IPNU-IPPNU

Abstract


Moral decline among students is now in the spotlight in the world of education. These conditions encourage educational institutions to be responsible for shaping religious character through academic and non-academic activities in schools. One of the non-academic activities is through the Nahdlatul Ulama Student Association and the Nahdlatul Ulama Girls Student Association (IPNU-IPPNU). The focus of this research is (1) How is the formation of religious character of students through IPNU-IPPNU organization in Hasyim Asy'ari 1 Pucuk High School ?. (2) What is the role played by IPNU-IPPNU in shaping the religious character of students in Hasyim Asy'ari 1 Pucuk High School ?. (3) What are the supporting and inhibiting factors for the formation of religious character of students through the IPNU-IPPNU organization in Hasyim Asy'ari 1 Pucuk High School ?. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach to the type of case study research. Data collection methods in this study were observation, interviews, and documentation. Analysis of the data used covers data collection, data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions. The results obtained are that the IPNU- IPPNU organization at Hasyim Asy'ari 1 High School has an important role in shaping the religious character of students, because its activities are religious or religious. All of that is inseparable from the activities carried out such as MAKESTA (Membership Period), routines, prayer, tomb pilgrimage, joint prayer, commemoration of Islamic holidays and others.
