Efektivitas Penggunaan Video Animasi Terhadap Kemampuan Matematika Awal Anak Di Taman Kanak-Kanak Mawar Kabupaten Padang Pariaman

Penelitian dilatarbelakangi oleh kemampuan matematika awal anak di taman Kanak-kanak Mawar Kabupaten Padang Pariaman masih  rendah, penggunaan media yang kurang bervariasi dan belum menggunakan media video animasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas video animasi terhadap kemampuan matematika awal anak usia dini di Taman kanak-kanak Mawar Kabupaten Padang Pariaman. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif yang berbentuk quasy exsperiment. Populasi di TK mawar kabupaten padang pariaman berjumlah 22 orang dan teknik pengambilan sampelnya cluster sampling, yaitu kelompok B2 dan B1 masing-masing nya berjumlah 11 orang anak. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan tes dengan 8 pertanyaan dan memberikan skor terhadapan pencapaian perkembangan matematika anak. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan uji normalitas untuk mengetahui data apakah berdistribusi normal kemudian dilanjutkan dengan uji homogenitas apakah data bersifat homogen. Selanjutnya untuk mengukur pengaruh signifikan pengguanaan video animasi terhadap kemampuan matematika awal anak maka di lakukan uji hipotesis dan uji effect size. Uji hipotesis sebesar nilai signifikan 0,000<0,05  yang berarti nilai signifikan berpengaruh dan uji effect size diperoleh 2,08 yang berarti memiliki pengaruh kuat. Maka dapat disimpulkan pengggunaan video animasi efektif terhadap kemampuan matematika awal anak.
