Salah satu upaya yang dilakukan pemerintah kota Banjarmasin untuk memperbaiki pola asuh terhadap anak di masyarakat adalah dengan mengadakan program parenting yang dinamai dengan Sekolah Ibu dan Calon Ibu. Penulis tertarik untuk meneliti apakah setelah mengikuti Sekolah Ibu ada perubahan pola asuh yang lebih baik dari para pesertanya. Oleh karena itu, dilakukan penelitian lapangan yang bersifat kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui angket terbuka. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya perubahan pola asuh dari otoriter menjadi demokratis setelah peserta mengikuti Sekolah Ibu dan Calon Ibu.References
