Kuttab: Journal of Islamic Education is a scholarly journal under the Islamic Education Study Program, Faculty of Islamic Studies, Universitas Islam Lamongan, with registered numbers ISSN 2549-7987 (print) and ISSN 2550-0341 (online). This open-access journal is published by Litbang Pemas, Universitas Islam Lamongan. The aim of Kuttab: Journal of Islamic Education is to publish research results, both conceptual and empirical, related to the studies of Islamic education.

The scope of Kuttab: Journal of Islamic Education covers a wide range of research topics in Islamic education studies, including: Islamic education curriculum, pesantren, madrasah diniyah and other forms of non-formal education, media and methods of Islamic education, Islamic educational thought, philosophy of Islamic education, and history of Islamic education.

Kuttab: Journal of Islamic Education is published biannually (March and September).

Since 2020, Kuttab: Journal of Islamic Education has applied an “Article in Progress” system, while maintaining the procedures of editorial screening, peer review, and plagiarism check.

Starting from Volume 03 No. 01 (2019), the journal has adopted the latest article template and house style.
