Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • File pengiriman dalam format file dokumen (doc, docx. rtf, atau odt) , mengikuti pedoman penulis dan template artikel . Pastikan Anda menggunakan Mendeley untuk membantu dalam referensi. Panduan untuk menggunakan Mendeley sebagai manajer referensi disediakan.
    Kesalahan dalam mengikuti pedoman dapat berakibat penolakan dari naskah Anda.
  • Harap pastikan bahwa penulis memahami dan mengikuti persyaratan ini sebelum melanjutkan dengan langkah selanjutnya dalam pengiriman artikel.
    Kiriman belum pernah dipublikasikan , atau belum ada sebelum jurnal lain untuk dipertimbangkan (atau penjelasan telah diberikan dalam Komentar untuk Editor). Artikel yang diterbitkan dalam konferensi perlu diubah sebelum diserahkan dengan setidaknya 35% perbedaan dengan makalah aslinya, dan lulus pemeriksaan kesamaan kami.
    Penulis terikat dengan Kebijakan Plagiarisme kami, oleh karena itu pertimbangan yang cermat harus dilakukan sebelum mengirimkan artikel. Dalam keadaan apa pun yang JURNAL temukan artikel telah atau diterbitkan di tempat lain yang identik dengan yang diterbitkan di JURNAL , kami akan menarik kembali artikel mengikuti pedoman COPE tentang mencabut artikel dan memberi tahu penulis.
  • Penulis tidak disarankan menarik naskah yang dikirim setelah itu dalam proses publikasi (tinjau, salin, tata letak, dll). Selama ini, JURNAL telah menghabiskan sumber daya berharga selain waktu yang dihabiskan dalam proses.
  • Karena JURNAL adalah jurnal yang ditinjau oleh rekan sejawat , instruksi dalam Memastikan artikel Anonymous peer review perlu diikuti.
  • Masukkan nomor Whatsapp Anda di bidang komentar untuk memudahkan editor menghubungi Anda jika email Anda memiliki masalah

Author Guidelines

General Writing Instructions and Waiver Policy

  1. The text submitted by the author is the original scientific paper, has never been published, and is not being submitted for publication in  other media / journals
  2. The text proposed may be results of the study (field / literature), conceptual ideas, studies, application of theories, and criticism in the social, humanities, and technology
  3. Article Format has met the Template of JCE (Journal of Childhood Education).
  4. The article must be under 20% checked by Turnitin plagiarism software
  5. The article does not contain the results of plagiarism, falsification, and fabrication of data.
  6. Authors are responsible for the content of the manuscripts. Correspondence regarding the manuscripts will be addressed to the authors by mentioning the institution,  and authors’ email addresses;
  7. The manuscripts will be assessed based on 3 components, including the content authenticity, originality degree, content relevance and suitability to the journal mission;
  8. The manuscript title must be concisely written, but informative enough to describe the text content;
  9. The manuscript is written in Indonesian. The length of the manuscript should be between 2000 and 4000 words using Microsoft Word program (.doc or .docx) on A4-sized paper. Each page should be numbered. The pages should also use mirror margins including top, bottom, right 2.5 cm, and left 3 cm. The line spacing generally for the manuscript is 2.0 except for the abstract and the references list which uses 1.0 line spacing. Times New Roman should be used as the Font sized 12pt except for the abstract which should be sized 10 and the title which should be capitalized in font size 14pt.
  10. The written manuscript should include the abstract both in Indonesian and in English having 150 to 250 words contain Introduction, research purposes and result. The keywords should be chosen wisely to describe the article content between 3 to 5 words.
  11. The article structure includes (a) title, (b) authors name (without academic degree), affiliation, and email, (c) abstract, (d) keywords, (e) introduction (background and library support ends with article goal or scope), (f) method, (g) main discussion, (h) conclusion, (i) references (contained only referenced sources), and (j) attachments (if any).
  12. Subsection is written with same font without numbering: (a) First Subsection (Capitalize Each Word, Bold, Align Left); (b) Second Subsection (Capitalize Each Word, Italic-Bold, Align Left); (c) Third Subsection (Capitalize Each Word, Align Left); (d) Fourth Subsection (Capitalize Each Word, Italic, Align Left);
  13. References should include 20 literatures published in the last 10 years. The newer the better. Primary sources such as research report or scientific articles in journals and/or scientific magazine are preferred references.
  14. References or citations use middle-note reference technique based on APA (American Psychological Association) 6th edition. To keep the consistency of referencing, citation and the reference list should use Mendeley Reference Manager application.
  15. All manuscripts will be reviewed anonymously by the appointed expert editor (reviewer) based on his/her expertise. Article authors will be given the opportunity to improve their manuscript based on the recommendation from reviewer or editor.
  16. The unaccepted manuscript will be archived by the administrator
  17. Waiver Policy, A waiver or partial waiver of author fees may be decided by the editor in case of lack of funding, excessive length of the submitted manuscript, or other reasonable reasons provided by the author during the submission. The author should clearly declare that he asks for a waiver in the comments to the Editor box during their submission. A waiver is most likely to be denied if it is not asked in this stage. The waiver will have no effect on the review result.

Instructions for Author of JCE (Journal of Childhood Education)

A. General Requirements

The minimum standard requirements of JCE (Journal of Childhood Education) must be :

  1. Authors are responsible for the content of the manuscripts. Correspondence regarding the manuscripts will be addressed to the authors by mentioning the institution, country,  and authors’ email addresses;
  2. The manuscripts will be assessed, including the content authenticity, originality degree, content relevance and suitability to the journal focus and scope;
  3. The manuscript title must be concisely written, but informative enough to describe the text content;
  4. Written in Indonesian.
  5. The length of the manuscript should be between 2000 and 4000 words using Microsoft Word program.
  6. Use Mendeley for reference management and formatting, and choose APA (American Psychological Association) 6th edition Style.
  7. Make sure that your paper is prepared using the JCE Template

 Structure of the Manuscript

The manuscript must be prepared and suggested present follow the structure:

  1. The manuscript is written in Indonesian. The length of the manuscript should be between 2000 and 4000 words using Microsoft Word program (.doc or .docx) in A4 sized paper. Each page should be numbered. The pages should also use mirror margin including top, bottom, right 3 cm, and left 3.5 cm. The line spacing generally for the manuscript is 2.0 except for the abstract and the references list that uses 1.0  line spacing. Times New Roman should be used as the Font sized 12pt except for the abstract which should be sized 10pt and the title that should be capitalized each word in font size 14pt.
  2. The written manuscript should include the abstract both in Indonesian and in English having 150 to 250 number of words contain Introduction, method, research purposes and result. The keywords should be chosen wisely to describe the article content between 3 to 5 words.
