Tujuan penelitian ini ialah untuk mengetahui pengembangan kosakata anak melalui permainan bola kata di Taman Kanak-kanak Negeri pembina 01 lunang. Penelitian ini berawal dari asumsi bahwa permainan bola kata dapat membantu mengembangkan kosakata anak. Anak belum mampu menyebutkan huruf-huruf dan belum sepenuhnya mengenal lambang-lambang huruf abjad. Anak kurang mampu merangkai huruf menjadi kata. Anak belum mampu menyebutkan huruf yang berawalan dari suku kata yang sama. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif berupa uji semi empiris. Semesta penelitian ini adalah kelas B1 dan B2 di TK umum Pembina 01 Lunang, dan teknik pengambilan sampelnya relatif teladan yaitu anak kelas B1 sd 10 dan anak kelas B2 sd 10. Dalam teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan tes sebagai alat yang terdiri dari hingga 4 penjelasan, dan alat pengumpulan data menggunakan laporan. Data tersebut kemudian diolah dengan menggunakan uji beda (t-test) dari SD 16.32 sampai dengan 17.26. Saat menghitung standar deviasi permainan kata, hasilnya adalah 2007, dimana jika menghitung besarnya efek menggunakan rumus Cohen, hasilnya adalah 1,9 dengan klasifikasi yang lebih tinggi.. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan permainan bola kata berpengaruh tinggi terhadap pengembangan kosakata anak di Taman Kanak-kanak Negeri Pembina 01 Lunang pada tahun ajaran 2021/2022.References
