Pengaruh Penggunaan Media Karpet Terhadap Kemampuan Berhitung Anak Usia 5-6 Tahun di Taman Kanak-Kanak Sabbihisma 06 Kabupaten Padang Pariaman

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi kurang berkembangnya kemampuan berhitung anak usia 5-6 tahun. Sebagaimana guru menjelaskan materi dan memberikan contoh tugas kepada anak, setelah itu guru meminta anak untuk mengerjakan tugas-tugas di dilembar kerja anak (LKA). Serta proses pembelajaran kurang menarik minat anak dalam kegiatan berhitung karena terbatasnya penggunaan media yang digunakan guru terhadap kemampuan berhitung. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat seberapa besar pengaruh penggunaan media karpet terhadap kemampuan berhitung anak usia 5-6 tahun di Taman-kanak Sabbihisma 06 Kabupaten Padang Pariaman. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain quasi eksperimen dengan pre-test dan post-test group control. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, uji hipotesis, alat pengumpulan data digunakan lembaran pernyataan. Kemudian data diolah dengan uji perbedaan (t-test) menggunakan bantuan aplikasi software IBM Statistics SPSS 26. Hasil dari penelitian diketahui nilai sig (2-tailed) adalah sebesar 0,029 <0,05. Serta terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara penggunaan media karpet dengan kartu angka dan LKA sebesar 1,743 sehingga tingkat pengaruhnya tergolong kuat. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media karpet berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan berhitung anak usia 5-6 tahun.References
