Peer Review Process

AT-THULLAB: Jurnal Pendidikan Guru Madrasah Ibtidaiyah maintains rigorous peer-review standards while ensuring an efficient publication process. All research articles submitted to AT-THULLAB undergo a comprehensive peer-review process, with the following key characteristics:

  1. All research articles are reviewed by at least two suitably qualified experts.
  2. The Editor-in-Chief makes all publication decisions based on the reviewers’ comments and recommendations.
  3. Members of the Editorial Board provide insights, advice, and guidance to the Editor-in-Chief and contribute to decision-making on specific submissions.
  4. Managing Editors and Editorial Assistants provide administrative support to ensure the integrity of the double-blind peer-review process while facilitating an efficient workflow for authors, reviewers, and editors.
  5. AT-THULLAB also benefits from a manuscript referral process conducted by experienced peer reviewers from established journals to ensure the quality of submitted manuscripts.
  6. The peer-review, editing, copyediting, and proofreading processes generally take approximately 7–16 weeks.

Peer Review of Referred Papers

The Editors of AT-THULLAB: Jurnal Pendidikan Guru Madrasah Ibtidaiyah will promptly decide whether to accept, reject, or request revisions for referred papers based on the reviews and editorial recommendations from the supporting journals. The Editors may also seek additional reviews when necessary to support the decision-making process. Authors will be notified if the Editors determine that further review is required.
